Sam Sloman Expected To Win Kicking Job
Sam Sloman is expected to win the kicking job with Greg Zuerlein no longer around, according to sources informed of the situation. Sloman was a seventh-round pick out of Miami (Ohio) -- head coach Sean McVay's alma mater. He beat out Lirim Hajrullahu and Austin MacGinnis in training camp and the two losers of the competition were waived. The 5-foot-8, 205-pounder mad 49 of 62 field-goal tries (79 percent) and 97.4 percent of his extra points while kicking in college. The 22-year-old can be ignored for fantasy purposes to start the season.
