Sam Sloman Expected To Win Kicking Job
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams kicker Sam Sloman is expected to win the kicking job with Greg Zuerlein no longer around, according to sources informed of the situation. Sloman was a seventh-round pick out of Miami (Ohio) -- head coach Sean McVay's alma mater. He beat out Lirim Hajrullahu and Austin MacGinnis in training camp and the two losers of the competition were waived. The 5-foot-8, 205-pounder mad 49 of 62 field-goal tries (79 percent) and 97.4 percent of his extra points while kicking in college. The 22-year-old can be ignored for fantasy purposes to start the season.
