Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (groin) left practice on Wedneday with a groin injury, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Broncos are still evaluating him, but the team is "not overly concerned." It's not serious, but it still raises questions about whether Mims will be ready for the Week 1 regular-season opener on Sunday, Sept. 7, against the Tennessee Titans. If he is limited or out for the season opener, it would open up playing time and targets for Troy Franklin and rookie Pat Bryant behind WR1 Courtland Sutton. The 23-year-old is expected to open the 2025 season as the team's No. 2 receiver after posting a 39-503-6 line in 17 regular-season games (two starts) a year ago. Mims is intriguing in Denver's improving offense, but as mostly a boom/bust deep threat, he will probably be hard to rely on on a weekly basis in fantasy. Draft him as a WR5/flex in deeper fantasy formats.--Keith Hernandez
