Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said that rookie running back Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) and offensive guard Ereck Flowers (ankle) will not play in Week 14 against the Chiefs. The 21-year-old Ahmed hasn't played since Week 11. He was trending up as the team's lead back with Myles Gaskin (knee) on Injured Reserve in Weeks 10 and 11, but he's fallen off the radar now that he's injured and Gaskin is back from IR. Miami will march forward with Gaskin as the clear lead back ahead of DeAndre Washington and Patrick Laird. A week after the Chiefs were gashed by the Broncos' Melvin Gordon III on the ground, Gaskin will be a strong RB2 play as the clear leader of this backfield against KC.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
