Saints, Jamaal Williams Agree To Three-Year Deal
2 years agoThe New Orleans Saints and former Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams agreed to a three-year deal on Wednesday, according to a source. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Williams led the NFL with 17 rushing touchdowns last year in Detroit, adding his first 1,000-yard season on a career-high 262 carries. He also added 12 catches for an additional 73 yards. The addition of Williams is very bad news for Alvin Kamara, whose fantasy stock was already shaky with a potential suspension looming in 2023 for off-the-field conduct. Kamara could still be useful in PPR leagues, but he's surely no longer an outright RB1 for fantasy managers. Williams should also be expected to see plenty of regression with his new club, especially in the TD department.
