Ryan Strome Misses Saturday's Action Due To COVID Protocols
New York Rangers forward Ryan Strome will be sidelined for Saturday's meeting with the Canadiens after he was added to the COVID-19 list. The 28-year-old is also set to miss Monday's clash with Toronto. His absence will give a big opportunity to Filip Chytil, who gets a chance to skate as the second-line center alongside Artemi Panarin and Kaapo Kakko. The latter will take Strome's spot on the first power-play unit. Sammy Blais, who missed Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Dallas with a lower-body injury, will draw into the lineup. Igor Shesterkin, who recorded 23 saves in his season debut against the Stars, starts between the pipes.
