Edmonton Oilers center Ryan McLeod inked a two-year, $4.2 million contract extension with an average annual value of $2.1 million to remain in Alberta on Wednesday. In the 2022-23 season, McLeod scored 11 goals, added 12 assists and fired 78 shots on goal. Since being drafted by the Oilers in 2018, the 23-year-old has accumulated 20 goals and 25 assists throughout 138 games in his NHL career.
