Ronald Jones II Injures Foot Friday
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II (foot) was sidelined briefly at practice on Friday after he injured his left foot. He had the foot wrapped in ice on the sidelines while the backups got repetitions. Cornerback Carlton Davis injured his right shoulder and had it wrapped in ice. Head coach Bruce Arians said that neither injury looks serious. It's looking more and more like Jones will indeed be the team's primary back in 2020, at least on early downs. But his lack of pass-catching chops limits his fantasy ceiling, especially since Tampa has other backs on roster capable of filling that role. Jones will be an RB3/flex option in his first year working with legend Tom Brady.
