The Houston Rockets have signed Jeenathan Williams to a training camp contract. The 24-year-old quickly lands on another team after Portland waived Williams last week before his salary for 2023-24 became guaranteed. Williams played in five games with the Trail Blazers near the end of last season, making four starts and averaging 10.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 25.4 minutes. He also featured for the team in the Summer League but played a very marginal role and was limited to only 9.2 minutes per game. Last season, Williams also gained some experience in the G League, putting up 12.3 points in 26.6 minutes with the Salt Lake City Stars.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
