Riley Leonard "Week-to-Week" With Strained Knee
Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Riley Leonard (knee) is dealing with a strained right-knee ligament and is "week-to-week," a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Colts are unsure if Leonard will be able to play in Seattle against the Seahawks in Week 15 on Sunday. Leonard was forced into action in Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars after starter Daniel Jones suffered a season-ending torn Achilles tendon. With Anthony Richardson Sr. (eye) still on Injured Reserve and potentially unable to play the rest of the year, Indy would be down to Brett Rypien at the QB position if Leonard is unable to play this weekend. The Colts reportedly will work out 44-year-old QB Philip Rivers, who last played in 2020, on Tuesday. Regardless of who is starting under center for the Colts the rest of the way, it's going to be a major fantasy downgrade for all of Indy's offensive skill players, namely star running back Jonathan Taylor.
