Ray-Ray McCloud III 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: McCloud Offers Little Upside for Fantasy Managers in 2025
Ray-Ray McCloud III had a career year in 2024. He set career highs across the board and posted a 62-686-1 line on 87 targets. However, most of his success came when Kirk Cousins was Atlanta's starting quarterback. McCloud only posted an 8-98-0 line in Michael Penix Jr.'s three games as a starter. Penix is now set to take over as Atlanta's QB1 this year. With a young, inexperienced quarterback at the helm, Atlanta will likely deploy a run-first offense and rely heavily on third-year back Bijan Robinson to carry the load. That means there will be fewer opportunities for McCloud. Considering he will be competing for targets with fellow receivers Drake London and Darnell Mooney, it's likely McCloud doesn't repeat his 2025 stat line. Even if injuries strike the depth chart, McCloud would only be a startable option in the deepest of leagues. He can safely be left undrafted in all formats.
