Raiders Sign Veteran Willie Snead IV
4 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders signed veteran free-agent wide receiver Willie Snead IV to an undisclosed deal on Friday. Snead is entering his eighth season in the league and his first in the AFC West. The 28-year-old spent the last three years with the Baltimore Ravens after short stints with the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers. He spent three full seasons with the New Orleans Saints. Snead started 29 of 45 games with Baltimore, catching 126 passes for 1,422 yards and nine touchdowns. Snead and John Brown, formerly teammates in Baltimore, were signed to help replace the production offset by the loss of Nelson Agholor. The Raiders also have Henry Ruggs III, Hunter Renfrow and Bryan Edwards, so Snead should be ignored in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.
