Predators Unlikely To Trade Juuse Saros
10 months agoThe Nashville Predators are unlikely to trade star goaltender Juuse Saros, according to general manager Barry Trotz. "I think he'll be playing net for us this year," Trotz told The Athletic. "I don't suspect anything coming... We're pretty safe in saying he's going to be here." Trotz added that defenseman Alexandre Carrier might stay and fellow blueliner Tyson Barrie might go. The club looked to be trade deadline sellers but have rattled off six straight wins to climb back into playoff contention. They currently occupy the second Wild Card spot in the West thanks to a 33-25-2 record. Five points behind them is the Calgary Flames and while the Flames have one game in hand, the Predators are in a good spot to surprisingly crack the postseason.
