Philadelphia Phillies manager Joe Girardi has been let go by the organization on Friday. The team has decided to move on from Girardi after two-and-a-half seasons. The Phillies have gone 132-141 under Girardi. Obviously not great, but a 22-29 start to the 2022 season was the end of it. Bench coach Rob Thompson will take over as the interim manager. It's tough to blame everything on Girardi, but this was likely to happen if the Phillies started slow. They added multiple big name players over the offseason, so there is no reason why this team shouldn't be winning. Possibly, the shakeup at manager will get this team going in the right direction.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerRead More News
