Paulo Orlando Out 3-6 Days
7 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Paulo Orlando (hamstring) will be out three to six days with a Grade 1 hamstring strain, according to manager Ned Yost. Injuries and poor play hurt Orlando in 2016, as he hit a putrid .197 with two homers, six RBI and one steal in only 39 games. Lorenzo Cain leaving in free agency appeared to open up a starting spot for Orlando in center field, but the recent signing of Jon Jay may put that on hold. While Orlando offers decent contact and speed, a lack of a clear path to consistent playing time hurts his fantasy value. He should be ready for Opening Day, barring any other setbacks with his hamstring.
