Kleber underwent right foot surgery before his move to L.A. and has been sidelined for 43 games. The Lakers will have an additional frontcourt option with Kleber. Given that starting center
Jaxson Hayes has averaged just 7.8 minutes per game in the series, Lakers head coach JJ Redick may consider trying something different against Minnesota. However, it's unlikely that Kleber will become a significant part of the rotation.

Jimmy Butler III (pelvis) is good to go for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Houston Rockets. According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters during his pregame press conference that Butler is "doing fine" and is "ready to play." The Warriors have listed the veteran forward as probable on the injury report. Kerr's remarks indicate that he will be upgraded to available before tip-off. Despite dealing with a pelvic contusion, Butler III delivered a high-level performance in Game 4 and is expected to do the same on Wednesday night, as the Warriors aim to close out the series.

Jamal Murray grabbed the headlines with a 43-point performance in Tuesday's 131-115 Game 5 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. Although Murray made only five field goals and had 13 points in Game 4, he bounced back in style on Tuesday night, shooting 17-for-26 from the field, including 8-for-14 from downtown. It was a special scoring performance from the Canadian star, but Murray also took time to contribute in other areas. He completed his line with five rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and one block.
Nikola Jokic, who produced a 13-10-12 triple-double on Tuesday, continues to lead the Nuggets, but Murray reminded everyone what he can do when he gets hot. The 28-year-old has averaged 24.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.6 steals in the series.

Jayson Tatum scored a game-high 35 points as the team moved into the second round of the playoffs with a 120-89 victory over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night. He also stood out as the best passer in the game, logging 10 assists while grabbing eight rebounds and recording one steal. The Celtics superstar shot 10-for-16 from the field, including 4-for-5 from three-point range, and finished 11-for-11 from the free-throw line. Tatum injured his right wrist in the series opener and sat out Game 2, but he returned to action as if nothing had happened. Over the final three games of the series, Tatum averaged 36.0 points. He finished the matchup with averages of 31.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.5 steals.

Giannis Antetokounmpo put together a special line in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Indiana Pacers, but his team was eliminated from the playoffs with a 119-118 overtime defeat. Antetokounmpo posted his fourth career postseason triple-double with 30 points, 20 rebounds, and 13 assists, while collecting two steals and two blocks on the defensive end. He finished with 9-for-17 shooting and had an 11-for-17 record at the line. Throughout the entire postseason, Antetokounmpo averaged 33.0 points, 15.4 rebounds, and 6.6 assists, but the Bucks were still dumped out in the first round for the third consecutive year. The team has won only one playoff series since its 2021 championship run, which must be very frustrating for Antetokounmpo. The two-time MVP began to draw links with the San Antonio Spurs this week, and his partnership with
Victor Wembanyama would certainly be something extremely unique.

After making 61 percent of his shots in the series opener, Sengun has been held to below 43 percent shooting in each subsequent game. He finished 12-for-28 from the field on Monday while going 7-for-10 with his free throws. The Turkish big man has led the Rockets in the postseason, averaging 22.3 points, 11.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.8 steals. However, his efforts may not be enough for the team as Houston heads into Wednesday's Game 5 facing elimination.

He nailed two triples early on and provided efficient scoring throughout the night, finishing 9-for-18 from the field. After battling food poisoning during Game 2 of the series, Podziemski has quickly returned to form and has emerged as a crucial player for the Warriors in this series.
