According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, the Baltimore Orioles have fired manager Brandon Hyde. Hyde has been the manager of the Orioles for the past seven seasons. He began his tenure in 2019 and won just 54 games. However, Hyde was able to lead Baltimore during their rebuilding era and was able to get them back to the top of the standings. During the 2022 season, Hyde led the Orioles to their first winning season in several years. Then in 2023, Hyde and the Orioles won an impressive 101 games, and he was later named AL Manager of the Year. However, Hyde went 0-5 in postseason games. Through the opening month of the 2025 season, the Orioles held an underwhelming 15-28 record. Tony Mansolino is set to take over managerial duties for the remainder of the season.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
