Guard/forward Cam Reddish looks set to start the 2025-26 season in Europe. Sources have told Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews that Reddish is in advanced talks with BC Siauliai in Lithuania. The team is coached by former NBA player and assistant coach Darius Songaila. Reddish's contract reportedly includes an out clause, allowing him to leave if he receives an NBA offer or an opportunity to join a team in a better league. Reddish was a starter for the Los Angeles Lakers not long ago and won the NBA Cup with the team in 2023. However, he was waived in March. The former top-10 pick has averaged 8.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.0 steals for his NBA career, making 254 appearances with four teams.--Taavi Pailk

Forward Trey Lyles has signed a one-year contract with Real Madrid. The 29-year-old decided to move to Europe after playing 10 seasons in the NBA. Lyles has been a solid contributor wherever he has played, averaging 6.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 19.6 minutes with the Sacramento Kings last season. Overall, Lyles has racked up 650 games with five different teams. He will bring a wealth of experience and talent to a Real team aiming to bounce back from a disappointing EuroLeague campaign. Lyles will reportedly pocket $3.2 million with his deal at Real. His contract includes an NBA out clause, giving him the option to return to the Association when the right offer comes.--Taavi Pailk

Forward/center Charles Bassey has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Atlanta Hawks, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reports. The 24-year-old will compete for a roster spot on a team that appears somewhat shorthanded in the frontcourt. Since making his NBA debut in 2021, Bassey has played in 113 regular-season games. Last season, he made a career-high 36 appearances with the San Antonio Spurs, finishing with average numbers of 4.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 10.4 minutes. Bassey could be a useful addition for the Hawks, but he doesn't offer any fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk

The Sacramento Kings waived guard Terence Davis on Wednesday. Per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Davis had a contract that would have become guaranteed with the first game of the season. The 28-year-old has 228 regular-season contests under his belt but made only one appearance with the Kings in 2024-25. In the G League, Davis notched 14.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 steals per game with the Wisconsin Herd. There's a chance Davis joins another team for training camp, or he might seek playing opportunities overseas.--Taavi Pailk

Atlanta Hawks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis appears to still be struggling with health issues. The Latvian big man featured at the 2025 EuroBasket, averaging 20.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks. However, his health continues to raise concerns. "Scouts were not blown away by the way Kristaps Porzingis looked," ESPN's Brian Windhorst said on The Hoop Collective podcast. "They felt he looked--not the sort of impact player they're used to seeing. He admitted that while he feels better than he did in the spring, he's still got a way to go. He's not back to the full health that he was at." Considering his ongoing health issues, it's probably best for managers to avoid Porzingis in fantasy drafts.--Taavi Pailk

Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Kelly Oubre Jr. is reportedly on the trade block. The team seems ready to part with him to offer restricted free agent Quentin Grimes a better financial package. "There has been buzz all summer long about the Sixers looking to potentially move one of, if not both, Andre Drummond and Kelly Oubre," NBA Insider Jake Fischer said during a Bleacher Report live stream. "If they are able to find a deal for one of those two guys as we get closer to camp, that would open up some more wiggle room for Philadelphia to be able to pay Grimes a little bit more than what he's looking at right now and what that qualifying offer would be." Oubre Jr. has been a productive player for the 76ers and exercised an $8.4 million player option for this season. With the team healthy again, Oubre Jr.'s role could be quite different in 2025-26, so a move elsewhere might benefit his fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk

Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond may start the 2025-26 campaign elsewhere. NBA insider Jake Fischer reported that the team could look to move him to open up more resources for the signing of restricted free agent Quentin Grimes. "There has been buzz all summer long about the Sixers looking to potentially move one of, if not both, Andre Drummond and Kelly Oubre," Fischer said. "If they are able to find a deal for one of those two guys as we get closer to camp, that would open up some more wiggle room for Philadelphia to be able to pay Grimes a little bit more than what he's looking at right now and what that qualifying offer would be." A departure from Philadelphia will likely hurt Drummond's fantasy value because he has seen considerable action as a starter with the Sixers due to Joel Embiid's health issues.--Taavi Pailk

Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a game-high 29 points on 9-for-15 shooting, leading Greece to an 87-76 victory over Lithuania in the EuroBasket quarterfinals on Tuesday. The two-time NBA MVP also made a huge impact defensively, snagging four steals and blocking one shot. He finished 11-for-16 at the charity stripe and capped off his work with six rebounds and a pair of assists. Antetokounmpo sat out a couple of games during the group phase, raising concerns about his health, but he has looked as explosive as ever when on the court. With an average of 29.8 points per game, only Luka Doncic has scored more in this year's EuroBasket. Additionally, Antetokounmpo is among the best rebounders in the tournament, averaging 9.0 boards per game. The Bucks superstar looks ready to hit the ground running as the new NBA season approaches.--Taavi Pailk

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun has made history by becoming the youngest player to achieve a triple-double in EuroBasket history. He led Turkey to the semifinals with a 91-77 victory over Poland on Tuesday, finishing the contest with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. Sengun is now one of only five players to record a triple-double in EuroBasket since rebounds and assists started getting tracked in 1995. It's been a hugely successful tournament for Sengun, whose averages stand at 21.6 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 7.1 assists. Houston's rising star has shot nearly 60 percent from the field and will battle with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece for a spot in the 2025 EuroBasket final.--Taavi Pailk

Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey has agreed to a four-year, $100 million deal with the team, ending his contract saga. Giddey spent the entire summer as a restricted free agent, with both sides struggling to find common ground in contract negotiations. However, they finally worked out a deal ahead of training camp. Per ESPN's Shams Charania, the contract is fully guaranteed and contains no player or team options. Giddey had a big finish with the Bulls in 2024-25, and fantasy managers will certainly hope he continues where he left off. After the All-Star break, Giddey averaged 21.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, 9.3 assists, and 1.5 steals.--Taavi Pailk

Guard Mason Jones has joined the Perth Wildcats for the 2025-26 season. The Australian team announced that they have agreed on a one-year contract with Jones, who has played for five NBA teams. Last season, Jones made 10 appearances with the Sacramento Kings. Despite making his NBA debut all the way back in 2020-21, Jones has seen action in only 51 regular-season games. However, he has starred in the G League and was named the Finals MVP last season when he led the Stockton Kings to their first championship. Jones has averaged 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.3 steals for his G League career.--Taavi Pailk

Shooting guard Talen Horton-Tucker will suit up for the reigning EuroLeague champions, Fenerbahce, in 2025-26. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Horton-Tucker had a 21-day window to seek an NBA contract before formally joining the Turkish team. It looks like he couldn't attract offers good enough to keep him in the league. Horton-Tucker won the NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers during his rookie year and has played 305 career regular-season games. Following a pair of seasons with the Utah Jazz, he joined the Chicago Bulls for the 2024-25 campaign. Horton-Tucker averaged 6.5 points in 12.5 minutes across 58 appearances in a Bulls uniform. It seems like the Chicago native has been around forever, but he'll only turn 25 in November and might eventually find his way back to the Association.--Taavi Pailk

Guard Malcolm Brogdon has been linked with the New York Knicks. Ian Begley of SNY reports that Brogdon is among the candidates to fill the Knicks' final roster spot, along with Landy Shamet, who played for the team last season. Brogdon spent the 2024-25 campaign with the Washington Wizards, suiting up for only 24 games due to health issues. He became a free agent in the offseason after completing a two-year, $45 million contract. Brogdon won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award in 2023, but he has since played very little, which has damaged his value among teams and fantasy managers. Still, when he was on the court last season, Brogdon proved he can make an impact, averaging 12.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 23.5 minutes.--Taavi Pailk

Miami Heat forward Andrew Wiggins is reportedly attracting interest from the Los Angeles Lakers. In his latest Substack post, NBA insider Marc Stein mentions Wiggins as a potential target for the Lakers, as the team has "interest in adding a two-way swingman who can raise their ceiling." Wiggins only joined the Heat in February when the Golden State Warriors traded him in a deal to land Jimmy Butler III. He played well in his new uniform, averaging 19.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.0 blocks in 32.1 minutes. Moving to L.A. would be a blow for Wiggins' offensive usage, lowering his fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk

The Miami Heat reportedly have forward/center Precious Achiuwa on their radar, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. Jackson notes that "several other teams" have also expressed their interest in Achiuwa, who is a free agent following the completion of a one-year, $6 million deal with the New York Knicks. Achiuwa spent his rookie campaign in Miami and would welcome a return to the team, according to Jackson. However, due to financial reasons, the Heat are in no rush to make a deal with Achiuwa. When the Knicks were healthy, Achiuwa had only a limited role on the team, and Miami seems like a much better fit for him. The Heat have lost several frontcourt players ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, including veteran Kevin Love.--Taavi Pailk
