However, against Naimov, he struggled to get going as he only landed 31 significant strikes and was controlled on the ground and against the fence to lose. Rozenstruik entered the fight as a sizeable underdog and he didn't throw much volume due to the power of Pavlovich. He ended up landing just 23 strikes with 17 of them being significant strikes as well as being taken down twice to lose. With the loss, Rozenstruik fell to 15-6 as a pro and 9-6 in the UFC.
