Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze didn't have the ideal rookie season. The Bears used the 9th overall pick from last year's draft on Odunze, which came with high expectations. The 22-year-old finished with 54 receptions, 734 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in 17 games (12 starts) with Chicago. It sounds like the Bears believe Odunze can take a big step forward in his second season. Bears assistant head coach Antwaan Randle El is a big believer in Odunze. He recently said he wants to get Odunze the ball in a bunch of different ways. New head coach Ben Johnson is going to bring in a new scheme that should hopefully open up Odunze to do more work than just catching screens. It sounds like the Bears have big plans for Odunze, so dynasty managers should dump him yet.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Chicago Tribune

The Miami Dolphins have 10 total picks heading into the upcoming NFL Draft. It's worth noting that four of those picks are in the first three rounds. That being said, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Dolphins draft a quarterback on Day 2 or Day 3. Tua Tagovailoa is viewed as the franchise quarterback in Miami, but his concussion history is concerning. The Dolphins signed Zach Wilson as their backup, but he has failed to establish himself as a viable option as a starter when given the chance. Possibly, the Dolphins bring in another quarterback as a third option. It's never a bad idea to get more depth especially when your starting quarterback has an injury history like Tagovailoa. The Dolphins could draft a project-type quarterback to develop over the next few seasons.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: CBS Sports

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook has been vocal about wanting a contract extension. Cook reportedly wants an extension worth $15 million per season. It doesn't seem that the Bills and Cook are seeing eye-to-eye on that topic. That being said, it wouldn't be shocking to see Cook stay away from voluntary workouts. It seems unlikely that Cook will sit out actual regular season games, but possibly he'll miss workouts to increase the pressure on the organization. Cook is deserving of a new contract after rushing for 1,009 yards with a career-high 16 touchdowns this past season. The Bills have already handed out extensions to other players, so maybe Cook isn't as valued to Buffalo as he thinks. Ultimately, the two sides should get a deal done, but it wouldn't be shocking to see Cook try to leverage the situation.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: New York Times

The San Francisco 49ers announced on Thursday that tight end Jake Tonges and offensive lineman Austen Pleasants signed their one-year, exclusive-rights tenders. Both players will return to the Bay Area for the 2025 season. Tonges, 25, began his career with the Chicago Bears in 2022 and appeared in 16 games with the Niners in 2024 but was not used at all on offense on just 34 snaps. He'll make $1.03 million this year after re-signing. Instead, he played 232 snaps on special teams and had two solo tackles. The former undrafted free agent out of California will most likely serve in a similar role as a special-teams ace for San Fran in 2025. Pleasants, 27, started his career in 2021 with the Carolina Panthers and then played for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023 and with the Niners last year. He has appeared in just five NFL games over three seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: San Francisco 49ers

New Orleans Saints right tackle Ryan Ramczyk announced his retirement from the NFL on Thursday after spending all seven of his seasons with the Saints. The 30-year-old was taken with the 32nd overall pick in the first round in the 2017 NFL draft by the Saints out of the University of Wisconsin. He earned All-Pro honors for three straight seasons from 2018-20. During his time in the NFL, Ramczyk was one of the best right tackles in the league, but a cartilage defect in his knee caused him to miss the entire 2024 season, and now he's hanging up his cleats for good. Ramczyk didn't miss a single game in his first four seasons, but his knee began bothering him in 2021, causing him to miss seven games. He is retiring after 101 career starts in the Big Easy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: ESPN.com - Katherine Terrell

Free-agent cornerback Tre'Davious White agreed to terms with his former team, the Buffalo Bills, on a one-year deal with a maximum value up to $6.8 million on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. White will return to the team that selected him 27th overall in the 2017 NFL draft out of LSU. The 30-year-old veteran was named to two Pro Bowls and also was a first-team All-Pro selection in 2019 in his seven seasons with the Bills from 2017-23. White spent the 2024 season with the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens, totaling 22 tackles (16 solo) and five pass breakups in 11 games (four starts) while dealing with injuries. He will mainly be trying to stay healthy in his return to Buffalo to give them experienced depth in the secondary. White hasn't played in more than 11 games in a season since 2020, his last Pro Bowl campaign.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero

In addition to saying he hasn't ruled out retiring this offseason, free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday that "I'll play for $10 million." Rodgers also said next week's NFL draft won't have any impact on his plans. "I told every single one of the teams I talked to, it ain't about the money," the 41-year-old three-time MVP said. He confirmed he's had conversations with the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers. The Vikes and Giants have moved on, but Steelers president Art Rooney II said the team was "hearing that he's headed in our direction" at the league meetings earlier this month. Rodgers said he's operating on his own timeline while making his personal off-the field life a priority. While he could eventually sign with the Steelers, it certainly sounds like retirement is a very real possibility.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: ESPN.com - Brooke Pryor and Rich Cimini

The Dallas Cowboys are signing former Cincinnati Bengals and Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman Hakeem Adeniji, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. The 2020 sixth-round pick out of Kansas has played both tackle and guard during his 43 professional appearances (15 starts). However, he is likely to be a pure depth piece for Dallas if he makes the 53-man roster following offseason activities and training camp. Dallas has lost future Hall of Fame offensive linemen Tyron Smith and Zack Martin over the last two offseasons, so the group is in transition heading into the 2025 campaign. Given Dak Prescott's injury troubles, the organization should put a heavy emphasis on improving from last year's group.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerSource: Jordan Schultz

During an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Thursday, future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he has not made a decision on his future as he focuses on his personal life, and retirement is still on the table this offseason. The longtime Green Bay Packer and short-term New York Jet has been rumored to land with the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the 2025 campaign, but it sounds like there is still uncertainty. Rodgers, who threw for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns in 2024, could have success in the right fit, but his prime is clearly past him, and NFL fans will have to wait at least a little bit longer to see what his plans are for the upcoming season. If Rodgers plays in 2025, it would be a surprise to see him firmly on the fantasy football radar in single-QB leagues.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerSource: Adam Schefter

The NFL announced on Wednesday that San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Isaac Alarcon has been suspended for six games without pay for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances. The 26-year-old had been part of the league's International Pathway Program and has yet to appear in a regular-season game. Alarcon spent time with the Dallas Cowboys from 2020 through 2024 but never saw the field in a game. He signed with the Niners in early January and will be eligible to take part in all of the team's offseason practices and preseason games as he tries to lock in a reserve spot despite his suspension. Alarcon was on the 49ers' practice squad last season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco

The Tennessee Titans waived/released wide receiver Stanley Morgan Jr., linebacker Curtis Bolton, defensive tackles McTelvin Agim and Isaiah Iton, defensive back Gervarrius Owens and offensive guard Logan Bruss on Wednesday. Their roster currently sits at 65 players after the cuts. Morgan, 28, has not played in an NFL game since 2023 with the Cincinnati Bengals, when he played in just three games and didn't see a single target on offense. In fact, he hasn't caught a pass in the NFL since 2021 and has only five receptions on 15 targets for 29 yards and no touchdowns in 51 games (one start) over his five seasons with the Bengals since entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska. The Titans had signed Morgan to a Reserve/Futures deal after he spent time on their practice squad in 2024. He'll be hoping to latch on with another team before training camp this summer.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: TennesseeTitans.com - Jim Wyatt

Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry has been impressed with Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe. "Rare physical talent...maybe the only quarterback who's faster than Lamar," Berry said. The Browns were originally believed to be a lock to take a signal-caller with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, but that sentiment has now changed now that it's fully expected that the Tennessee Titans will take Miami QB Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick. Cleveland isn't sold on Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders and are now expected to take Colorado receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter with the second selection next Thursday night. Cleveland will certainly take a young QB in this year's draft, as veteran Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett are currently atop their depth chart. They have the No. 33 overall pick in the second round, but they could package that pick to move back into the first round to take Milroe.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Noah Weiskopf
