Chandler was last seen in action at UFC 282 where he lost via third-round submission to Dustin Poirier. He had been sidelined for years waiting on a promised fight with Conor McGregor. Carlos Prates scored a highlight-reel first-round knockout win over UFC veteran Neil Magny in the main event of UFC Vegas 100. Magny tried to take Prates down but Prates displayed excellent takedown defense. After an unsuccessful takedown attempt by Magny, Prates fell on top of him, but Magny managed to get up. Shortly after, Prates dropped Magny with an elbow but he let Magny get up. Prates began hounding Magny, and with just 10 seconds left in the fight, Prates landed a devastating left hand that landed on Magny's temple and sent him to the floor, knocking Magny out. UFC veteran Neil Magny suffered a first-round knockout loss to Carlos Prates in the main event of UFC Vegas 100 on Saturday. Magny relentlessly kept the pressure on and tried to take Prates down but Prates showed excellent takedown defense. Then Prates began stalking Magny and dropped him with an elbow, but Magny managed to get up. 10 seconds before the end of the first round, Prates landed a big left hand, knocking out Magny in the process. Cortavious Romious suffered a unanimous decision loss to Gaston Bolanos on the main card of UFC Vegas 100. Romious made his UFC debut after splitting two of Dana White's Contender Series appearances 1-1. It was an exciting fight, but unfortunately for Romious, he didn't do enough in the eyes of the judges to win the fight. Gaston Bolanos picked up a unanimous decision win over Cortavious Romious on Saturday's main card of UFC Vegas 100.
