Former two-time flyweight champion Brandon Moreno scored a unanimous decision victory over former title challenger Steve Erceg at UFC Mexico City to improve to 23-8-2 as a pro. The fight remained mostly on the feet, but Moreno landed the more powerful punches, especially hard hooks that hurt Erceg. In 25 minutes of action, Moreno landed a takedown and 89 significant strikes. For Moreno, the victory was his first on home soil since signing with the UFC.
