The Los Angeles Rams have selected Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson with the No. 46 pick in the second round of Friday's draft. On paper, this is a good upgrade for the Rams who needed another tight end alongside Tyler Higbee. Ferguson finished as Oregon's all-time leader among tight ends with 134 receptions and 16 touchdowns during his college career. This past season, Ferguson finished with a career-high 43 receptions and 591 receiving yards in 12 games. He's quick and agile enough to possibly be helpful for screens as well. Rams' head coach Sean McVay isn't scared to use his offensive players in unique ways, so it wouldn't be shocking to see Ferguson making an impact right away in Los Angeles.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

The Houston Texans have acquired the No. 48 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Las Vegas Raiders. In return, the Texans are sending the 58th and 99th picks back to the Raiders. Houston decided to spend its selection on Minnesota offensive tackle Aireontae Ersery. A three-year starter at left tackle in college, Ersery will likely begin his NFL career on the right side of the offensive line. He'll be tasked with protecting C.J. Stroud after Houston reshaped its offensive line this offseason, trading away Kenyon Green and Laremy Tunsil.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Mike Garafolo

The Saints drafted quarterback Tyler Shough near the top of the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, adding the QB from Louisville as the third quarterback off the board in the draft. The Saints took him ahead of Shedeur Sanders from Colorado, who continues to slide in the second round. Shough is an intriguing prospect who has the physical tools to be a traditional pocket passer. He was inconsistent, though, especially with his lower-body mechanics in his time at Louisville. He has more experience than most draft picks as a seven-year college prospect and will turn 26 during the first month of the season. Even though he isn't a long-term development project, Shough could help the Saints in the short term since Derek Carr is dealing with a shoulder injury, and his availability for 2025 is uncertain.--Zach Thompson - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Buffalo Bills have traded up to the 41st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. In full, Buffalo acquired the 41st, 72nd, and 240th picks from the Chicago Bears in exchange for the 56th, 62nd, and 109th picks. The Bills drafted cornerback Maxwell Hairston with their own pick in the first round Thursday, and now they're making an aggressive trade to move up in the second round. The deal also arms Chicago with two new second-round picks, plus a fourth-round selection. The Bears have been very devoted to improving their offense so far, selecting Michigan tight end Colston Loveland and Missouri wide receiver Luther BurdenUPDATE: Buffalo took South Carolina defensive tackle T.J. Sanders with the 41st overall pick.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Ian Rapoport

The Miami Dolphins have selected Arizona guard Jonah Savaiinaea with the 37th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Miami acquired this pick, along with the 143rd overall selection, from the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for the 48th, 98th, and 135th picks. Savaiinaea impressed at the combine and was one of the top remaining interior linemen available at this point in the draft. Miami will presumably deploy him at guard, though he does have some experience at tackle, too. Regardless of where he plants his hand, Savaiinaea should be able to provide major support in the trenches after the Dolphins lost Terron Armstead to retirement this offseason.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Las Vegas Raiders

The Seattle Seahawks have selected South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori with the 35th pick in the NFL Draft. This pick originally belonged to the Tennessee Titans but was flipped to Seattle in a trade while Tennessee was on the clock Friday night. In exchange for the 35th pick, Seattle sent the 52nd and 82nd picks back to the Titans. Emmanwori totaled 88 tackles (including three tackles for loss) and four interceptions through 13 games during his final collegiate season. He is a physical playmaker known for his skillful tackling and ability to disrupt plays. His good downfield speed makes him a candidate to start immediately on defense.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Field Yates

The Houston Texans selected Iowa State wide receiver Jayden Higgins with the 34th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Houston obtained this pick from the New York Giants, who previously moved up to select Jaxson Dart in Round 1. After four wide receivers were drafted in the first round of the draft Thursday night, Higgins became the first receiver selected in the second round Friday. He caught 87 passes for 1,183 yards and nine touchdowns during his final collegiate season. Known for his large wingspan and outstanding ball skills, Higgins could contribute right away with the Texans. Houston lost Stefon Diggs via free agency this offseason, and they'll likely open the 2025 season without Tank Dell (knee) as he recovers from a torn ACL. Higgins will have a chance to earn reps in three-receiver sets alongside Nico Collins and offseason addition Christian Kirk.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL

Sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz that several teams that are picking in the high 30s and 40s are calling the Cleveland Browns (No. 33 overall), Houston Texans (No. 34) and Tennessee Titans (No. 35) about potential trades to try and come up early into the second round of this year's NFL draft on Friday. Wide receiver and edge rusher are viewed as two positions as having big drop-offs in talent and a wide range of evaluations, which is why those two positions are expected to be targeted by teams early in the second round. NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah thinks that Iowa State receivers Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel and Missouri wideout Luther Burden III could come off the board early on Friday, as well as edge rushers such as Marshall's Mike Green, Boston College's Donovan Ezeiruaku and Arkansas' Landon Jackson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: FOX Sports - Jordan Schultz

NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe reports that the Cleveland Browns are fielding calls for the first pick of Round 2 on Friday night at No. 33 overall. The Browns already agreed to a blockbuster trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the top of the first round on Thursday that moved them from the No. 2 pick to No. 5, where they selected Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham. Cleveland has more reason to trade back in the second round after acquiring the No. 36 overall pick from the Jaguars on Thursday. If the Browns stay put with the first pick in the second round, it's possible they could take Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders after he fell out of the first round entirely. Cleveland is one of the most QB-needy team with Deshaun Watson (Achilles) expected to miss all of 2025 and with only Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett their current healthy options.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: NFL Network - Cameron Wolfe
