Colorado Rockies shortstop Ezequiel Tovar (oblique) went one-for-four with a single and a run scored on Saturday in the second game of his rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque. Tovar has missed over a month since straining his oblique in early June, so he'll likely need a few more rehab outings before being activated by the Rockies. Before getting injured, Tovar posted a .258/.301/.406 slash line with three home runs and two stolen bases in 138 plate appearances. His run and RBI opportunities in a miserable Rockies' lineup are limited, but he offers some upside in power and batting average in the middle infield.--Will BradySource: milb.com

Colorado Rockies first baseman Michael Toglia had a big day in his team's 6-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday. Toglia went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk to help power his team to the win over the Sox. The veteran's fifth-inning homer broke a 4-4 tie and ultimately wound up being the final runs of the game for either team. Toglia is now slashing .209/.278/.386 with 10 homers, 19 runs, 30 RBI, and three stolen bases on the season. He has been on a modest hot streak of late, hitting .304 over his past seven games. Toglia will need to hit more consistently to merit a spot on most fantasy rosters.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

Houston Astros catcher Yainer Diaz turned in a productive game in a 5-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. Diaz went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer, two runs, and one RBI in the win. The veteran catcher pushed the Astros' lead to 4-1 with his solo homer in the eighth inning, going back-to-back with Christian Walker in the frame. Diaz is now slashing .248/.280/.411 with 11 doubles, 12 homers, 33 runs, and 37 RBI in 302 at-bats this season. He has been hot of late, hitting .320 with two homers in his past seven games. Diaz remains a solid fantasy catcher in all formats.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

Chicago Cubs DH Seiya Suzuki had a productive day in an 11-0 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. Suzuki went 2-for-5 with a double, a homer, and two RBI to help power Chicago to the lopsided victory. The veteran gave the Cubs their final run of the contest with his solo homer in the fifth inning, a blast that had an exit velocity of 106.1 MPH while traveling 405 feet. Suzuki is putting together an excellent season for the Cubs, slashing .263/.319/.561 with 22 doubles, 25 homers, 48 runs, 77 RBI, and two stolen bases in 346 at-bats. He is an excellent source of power numbers in all fantasy leagues.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

Chicago Cubs left-hander Matthew Boyd turned in an excellent start in his team's 11-0 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. Boyd threw five shutout innings while allowing three hits, walking one, and striking out nine on the way to earning his ninth win of the season. The veteran southpaw notched 14 swinging strikes in the outing while improving his record to 9-3, to go along with a 2.52 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 96 strikeouts in 103 2/3 innings of work on the season. Boyd remains a rock-solid fantasy starting pitcher going forward as he prepares to take on the New York Yankees in his next start, which is set for Saturday.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

Chicago Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner had a big game in his team's 11-0 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. Hoerner went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, three runs, and one RBI in the lopsided win over the Cardinals. The veteran infielder is now slashing .287/.336/.382 with 18 doubles, two triples, three homers, 51 runs, 37 RBI, and 16 stolen bases in 327 at-bats on the season. While his power is mostly non-existent, Hoerner does enough in the other areas to remain a solid fantasy contributor in all formats.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

San Francisco Giants shortstop Willy Adames turned in a big game in a 6-2 win over the Athletics on Sunday. Adames went 1-for-3 with a homer, two walks, and three RBI in the victory. The veteran shortstop launched a solo homer in the fourth inning, a bomb that traveled 432 feet with an exit velocity of 102.4 MPH, giving the Giants a 2-1 lead. He picked up his other two RBI with a pair of bases-loaded walks, coming in the first inning and the fifth. Adames is now slashing .226/.313/.370 with 11 homers, 50 walks, 45 RBI, and four steals in his first season as the Giants' starting shortstop. He remains a solid source for power numbers, even though his average is lacking.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

Athletics outfielder Tyler Soderstrom turned in a productive game in his team's 6-2 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday. Soderstrom went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer, two runs, and an RBI in the loss. The outfielder gave the A's their first run of the game with his solo homer in the fourth inning, a blast that traveled 389 feet with an exit velocity of 105.3 MPH. Soderstrom is putting together a solid season, slashing .253/.334/.436 with 13 doubles, 15 homers, 46 runs, 49 RBI, and five stolen bases across 328 at-bats. He has been slumping of late, hitting just .182 over his past seven contests, so hopefully his big game on Sunday will get the bat going again.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

Detroit Tigers shortstop Trey Sweeney played the hero in his team's 7-2 win over the Cleveland Guardians in 10 innings on Sunday. Sweeney went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer to lift his team to the victory and complete the three-game sweep over Cleveland. With the game tied at 1-1 in the top of the 10th inning, Sweeney launched a go-ahead three-run homer to give the Tigers their first lead of the game. Sweeney is now hitting .220 with five homers, 28 runs, 27 RBI, and two steals across 214 at-bats this season. Late-game heroics aside, he will need to hit more consistently to make his way into fantasy lineups.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

Cleveland Guardians right-hander Gavin Williams was dominant in a 7-2 loss to the Detroit Tigers in 10 innings on Sunday. Williams tossed six innings of shutout ball while allowing just one hit, walking three, and striking out eight. The third-year hurler was never in line for the win as he departed with the game scoreless following the sixth inning, but it was still an impressive start against the AL Central-leading Tigers. Williams has come on strong over his past seven starts, posting a 1-1 record, 2.72 ERA, and 30 strikeouts in 39 2/3 innings of work. Overall, he has a 5-4 record, 3.61 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and 90 strikeouts on the season while proving his worth as an above-average fantasy starting pitcher. He will look to stay hot in his next start, which is set for Friday against the Chicago White Sox.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

Seattle Mariners right-hander George Kirby tossed a gem in a 1-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Kirby threw 6 1/3 scoreless innings while allowing four hits, walking none, and striking out nine batters to earn the win. The veteran hurler led the game with 19 swinging strikes while improving his record to 3-4, to go along with a 4.22 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 50 strikeouts across 49 innings of work. Kirby struggled in his first two starts of the season upon being activated from the injured list in late May but has been excellent since, posting a 2.68 ERA over his past seven starts. He will be a solid fantasy starting option in his next start, which will come on Saturday against the Detroit Tigers.--Matt TerelleSource: MLB.com

Chicago Cubs infield prospect Jefferson Rojas extended his hitting streak to six games on Sunday during their contest against High-A Peoria. In this game, Rojas went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and a run. During this six-game hitting streak, Rojas has posted two multi-hit games, scored four runs, and added three RBI. During this stretch, he has held a cumulative .364/.440/.636 slash line. The 20-year-old has spent the entire first half of the campaign with High-A South Bend. Through 61 games, the No. 77-ranked prospect in the sport on MLB.com has held a .281/.393/.469 slash line with 13 doubles, seven home runs, and 14 stolen bases. This is a nice improvement compared to the .245/.310/.336 line he held at High-A last summer. Given his strong play this season, he could earn a promotion to Double-A in the coming weeks.--Andy SmithSource: MiLB.com

Los Angeles Angels right-handed pitching prospect Ryan Johnson enjoyed a dominant outing with High-A Tri-City on Sunday evening. Johnson tossed a complete game shutout. He allowed just one hit and did not serve up a walk. He struck out 12 batters. Johnson joined Los Angeles last season and made his MLB debut earlier this season before even pitching in a minor league game. However, during his first 14 2/3 innings in the big leagues, Johnson posted a high 7.36 ERA, which resulted in his demotion to High-A. However, he has been quite impressive with High-A and could be in the mix to either move up in the system or return to the major leagues in the coming weeks. Through 54 1/3 innings at High-A, Johnson has posted a stellar 1.99 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and a 61:10 K:BB.--Andy SmithSource: MiLB.com

New York Yankees outfield prospect Spencer Jones went 1-for-4 with his fourth home run at Triple-A on Sunday evening. Jones got the call to join Triple-A last week and has shown immense power upside during his first stint. Through eight games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Jones has hit three doubles and gone deep four times. During this stretch, he has held a .375/.450/.844 line and added two stolen bases. Jones is currently the No. 2-ranked prospect in the system on MLB.com. He opened the campaign with Double-A Somerset, where he posted a solid .274/.389/.594 slash line with eight doubles and 16 home runs across 49 games. While he does hold a high strikeout rate, Jones has elite raw power. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his production as he could be in the mix to join the Yankees later in the second half.--Andy SmithSource: MiLB.com

St. Louis Cardinals shortstop prospect J.J. Wetherholt went 2-for-5 with two home runs during their contest against Double-A Northwest Arkansas on Sunday. Entering this game, Wetherholt was in a bit of a slump, holding a modest .176/.333/.294 slash line with just one double and a home run. The 22-year-old joined the St. Louis system after being selected with the seventh overall pick in last year's MLB Draft out of West Virginia. After the draft last season, the Cardinals moved Wetherholt to Low-A, where he made his professional debut. Through 29 games, the infielder held a .295/.405/.400 slash line with five doubles and two home runs. This strong play earned him a ticket to open the 2025 campaign with Double-A. Through 62 total games with Double-A, Wetherholt has held an impressive .300/.425/.466 line. Fantasy managers should expect Wetherholt to be in the mix to join Triple-A later this summer.--Andy SmithSource: MiLB.com
