Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop enjoyed a good start to his NFL career despite the missed extra point against the Buffalo Bills. With 12 fantasy points, he came in as the K7 in his first game after making a 52-yarder and a 49-yarder, along with going four-for-five in extra points. This offense should have no problem getting the ball into field goal range, especially against the divisional rival Cleveland Browns. Loop will remain in the top-ten fantasy kicker conversation unless he proves otherwise, so managers can look to deploy him in lineups again in Week 2.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins carries solid RB2 value facing the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. Dobbins was expected to split the backfield with rookie RJ Harvey early in the season. However, the veteran appears to be viewed as the clear leader for the time being, as he took 16 carries while Harvey took only six in the season opener. Dobbins was also very productive operating as the lead back, tallying 63 yards and a score during their victory over the Titans. As a pass catcher, Dobbins was able to bring in both of his targets for five yards. Last season, the 26-year-old enjoyed a career season playing for the Chargers, totaling 905 yards and nine scores across 13 contests. While Harvey will likely see his role grow over the season, for the time being, this appears to be Dobbins' backfield. As a result, he carries solid RB2 value facing the Colts.--Andy Smith

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is looking to bounce back after a disappointing Week 1 performance. Despite picking up the victory against the Tennessee Titans, the entire passing offense was unable to find its footing. In this contest, the former first-round pick went 25-for-40 with 176 passing yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions. On the ground, Nix added 18 yards on eight carries. His lone touchdown went to his top wideout, Courtland Sutton, on a 22-yard strike. Despite his underwhelming performance, managers should view Nix as a solid low-end QB1 heading into Week 2. During the final seven games of the 2024 regular season, Nix emerged as a must-start fantasy option, as he averaged 25.8 PPR points per game. Despite facing the Colts, who shut down the Miami offense in Week 1, given his rushing ability, Nix carries solid low-end QB1 upside heading into Week 2.--Andy Smith

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo carries TE2 value heading into a Week 2 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. During their Week 1 loss to the Denver Broncos, the Titans' passing attack did not find much rhythm, which limited Okonkwo's upside. In this contest, the tight end caught just three of his four targets for 19 yards. In total, rookie quarterback Cameron Ward tallied just 112 yards in this contest. This weekend, the Titans will play host to the Los Angeles Rams, who held the Texans to just nine points in Week 1. In this contest, Houston tight end Dalton Schultz was able to catch three of his five targets for 28 yards. While Okonkwo could see increased value as Ward develops at the NFL level, for the time being, he projects to be a risky TE2 play given his current offensive environment. He is best kept on the bench in all standard one-TE leagues.--Andy Smith

The Indianapolis Colts defense will host the Denver Broncos in Week 2. Indianapolis was impressive in a Week 1 win, holding the Miami Dolphins to just eight points while notching three sacks and forcing three turnovers. They will look to keep it going against a Broncos offense that was sloppy in the season opener, turning the ball over four times in a win over the Tennessee Titans. The Colts don't have a formidable defense, but they could turn in a decent fantasy outing if the Broncos continue to turn the ball over. The Colts are outside the top-12 D/STs as a redraft option, but are worth a look as a DFS choice in tournaments on Sunday.--Matt Terelle

Indianapolis Colts kicker Spencer Shrader will host the Denver Broncos in Week 2. Shrader had a big Week 1, hitting all four of his field-goal attempts and adding three extra points in a 33-8 win over the Miami Dolphins. The Colts might have a tougher time moving the ball on offense in Week 2 as the Broncos possess one of the top defenses in the league. Shrader is worth monitoring in fantasy thanks to his strong Week 1, but he should not be in fantasy lineups heading into Week 2 due to the imposing matchup.--Matt Terelle

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell will take on the Denver Broncos at home in Week 2. Mitchell only played on 15 snaps in Week 1's win over the Miami Dolphins, catching both of his targets for 21 yards. The Broncos represent a difficult matchup for the Colts' pass-catchers this weekend as they shut down the Tennessee Titans' pass attack in Week 1. Mitchell is not playing enough to be trustworthy in fantasy and should remain on benches heading into Week 2.--Matt Terelle

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce will host the Denver Broncos in Week 2 after enjoying a blowout win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. Pierce was mostly quiet, catching just one of his three targets for a 36-yard gain in the contest. The veteran will look for more work in a tough matchup against a Broncos secondary that shut down the Tennessee Titans pass-catchers in Week 1. Pierce can be very boom/bust, but is not a recommended fantasy option unless desperate in Week 2.--Matt Terelle

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs will take on the Denver Broncos at home in Week 2. Downs turned in a disappointing Week 1 performance in a win over the Miami Dolphins despite the Colts scoring 33 points, catching just two of three targets for 12 yards. The veteran slot receiver will look to bounce back after that performance, but might have a tough time doing so against an intimidating Broncos secondary. That being said, top Denver cornerback Patrick Surtain II is likely to spend more time on the outside covering Michael Pittman Jr., Adonai Mitchell, and Alec Pierce, which should open things up for Downs in the middle of the field. Downs has some appeal as a dart-throw flex option in PPR leagues, but he is better left on fantasy benches this weekend unless desperate.--Matt Terelle

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (glute) will host the Denver Broncos in Week 2. Pittman was listed on the injury report with a glute issue after Week 1, but he practiced fully all week and has no injury status heading into Sunday. The veteran wideout turned in a solid game in a Week 1 win over the Miami Dolphins, leading the team with 80 receiving yards and a touchdown. He might have a tougher time getting going against lockdown corner Patrick Surtain II in Week 2, however. Treat Pittman as a flex option, but don't be afraid to leave him on the bench if you have a better option due to the tough matchup.--Matt Terelle

The Baltimore Ravens defense/special teams had a rough go of things against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Throughout three quarters, they looked okay, but then a nightmare of a fourth quarter saw them giving up 22 points and eventually the game. In standard scoring, they came away with negative points in a lot of fantasy leagues. The good news is that Joe Flacco and the Browns are nowhere near the level of the Bills. Plus, Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy decided to give them some added motivation when he said there were 'no challenges' with the Ravens' defensive backs. This unit should be back in the starting discussion when it comes to D/ST decisions this week.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins proved why he's a three-time All-Pro with an amazing one-handed grab against the Buffalo Bills for a touchdown. While his days of 100+ targets per season are in the rearview mirror, he can still play that outlet role whenever called upon. The biggest issue for fantasy managers is that it's nearly impossible to predict which games he'll be more involved in compared to the others. In Week 2, he'll go up against the Cleveland Browns, who do have a better and more aggressive defensive unit. Hopkins might be viable in very deep leagues, but he likely won't receive more targets than Mark Andrews again, which would leave him around fourth in the target pecking order. So managers in 12-team leagues can safely leave him on the bench.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor will host the Denver Broncos in Week 2. Taylor turned in a solid, if unspectacular, Week 1 performance in a win over the Miami Dolphins, rushing for 71 yards and catching three passes for 27 yards. He will look to find the end zone against a talented Denver defense that allowed just the 21st-most fantasy points per game to running backs in 2024. The Broncos continued that trend in Week 1 as they shut down the running game of the Tennessee Titans, holding Tony Pollard to 3.3 yards per carry. Taylor should see plenty of volume, but the tough matchup downgrades him to more of a low-end RB1 in fantasy this weekend.--Matt Terelle

Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan led the Panthers with 68 receiving yards and five receptions on nine targets in their Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Considering the poor play of quarterback Bryce Young and the Panthers' offense as a whole, McMillan's fantasy output in PPR leagues wasn't terrible (11.8 PPR points). However, if you roster McMillan in fantasy, you likely need him to produce WR2 numbers, which he didn't quite do in Week 1. Heading into Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals, McMillan will once again have opportunities, as he was on the field for 83% of the Panthers' offensive plays in Week 1, leading all Panthers wideouts. The question is whether the Panthers' offensive line can give Young enough time to get the ball downfield for big plays to the big-bodied McMillan. If Young can improve in Week 2, it is expected that McMillan will outscore his Week 1 total. McMillan is a solid WR3/Flex option with WR2 upside heading into Week 2 against Arizona.--Jp Sticco

The Kansas City Chiefs defense will have all they can handle facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2. The Chiefs defensive unit just allowed 27 points to the Los Angeles Chargers in their Week 1 loss. Despite giving up nearly 30 points to a division rival, the Chiefs defense came away with three sacks in this contest. This defensive unit yielded 40 points to Philadelphia in the Super Bowl, so fantasy managers should be a little hesitant about trusting them in this spot. The Kansas City Chiefs are the 23rd-best defense in our RotoBallers rankings this week, making them a unit you should likely avoid. Fantasy managers would be wise to find a suitable alternative at this position.--Joshua Costello
