Ceddanne Rafaela hit a two-run walk-off homer on Wednesday to send the Red Sox to an 11-9 victory over the Angels. It wasn't a monster shot by any means, as it was a 308-foot floater down the line to the Pesky Pole. Fenway is the only major league park where that ball would have left the yard, but Rafaela certainly isn't complaining about his sixth home run of the year. The speedy center fielder is now slashing .252/.296/.411 to go along with his six home runs and seven stolen bases. His expected stats suggest even better days may be ahead, with a .274 xBA and .491 xSLG that are better than their actual counterparts.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder
Jackson Chourio went 3-for-5 at the dish with his 10th home run of the season in a 9-1 win against the Reds on Wednesday. He also collected two runs, two RBI, and a stolen base. He's now slashing .260/.286/.446 with 10 home runs, 37 RBI, 39 runs, and 12 stolen bases. That puts him at a 162-game pace of 26 home runs and 31 steals, which is definitely what fantasy managers were hoping for when they drafted him in the second round. The batting average and on-base percentage leave something to be desired, but the youngster was batting .316 over the past two weeks heading into the day. He remains a top-10 outfielder for fantasy purposes.

Colorado Rockies catcher
Hunter Goodman went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, one run scored, and one RBI in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Marlins. He has been on fire as of late, with six extra-base hits in his past three games and 13 at-bats. The 25-year-old is now slashing .281/.328/.491 with 10 home runs, 36 RBI, and 30 runs, making him the second most valuable catcher in standard 5x5 roto leagues behind only
Cal Raleigh. While it's unlikely that he finishes the season as the second-best catcher, it's safe to say that he is a top-12 option at the position from here on out. The slugger started at DH and hit third in the lineup on Wednesday, which is an arrangement that has helped him accumulate the fourth-most plate appearances among all backstops.

Tommy Edman (ankle) is missing from the lineup on Wednesday due to a tweaked ankle, reports Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. While the injury doesn't sound serious in nature, it's worth noting that this is the same ankle that landed Edman on the injured list from April 30 to May 18. While the 30-year-old is considered day-to-day for now, there's enough of a concern that
Esteury Ruiz is with the team on the taxi squad in case another trip to the injured list is necessary. He was just getting back into the swing of things as of late, with at least one hit in five of his last seven games.

Carlos Correa (back) was scratched from Wednesday's lineup with back tightness.
Brooks Lee, who was originally getting the night off, will start at shortstop in his place. The severity of the injury is not yet clear, but hopefully it's just a day-to-day issue. Correa has struggled to stay on the field over the course of his career, playing in at least 135 games only four times out of nine full-length seasons. The 30-year-old has played in 52 games so far in 2025 but has slashed just .241/.285/.380. More details on the severity of the injury may come out after the game.

Joey Bart (concussion) has returned to full baseball activities but is still in the league's concussion protocol, according to senior director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk. Bart is making progress but isn't ready to be cleared while being monitored on a day-by-day basis. When he's finally cleared, the Pirates and doctors will determine whether he'll need to go on a minor-league rehab assignment. Before suffering a head injury on a backswing last Tuesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Bart was hitting .240 with a home run, 11 RBI and a .347 on-base percentage as Pittsburgh's primary catcher through 44 games. Since Bart went on the seven-day concussion injured list,
Henry Davis has started five of the six games behind the dish for the Bucs.

Cedric Mullins (hamstring) is running and should resume baseball activities soon, according to interim manager Tony Mansolino. Mullins landed on the 10-day injured list last Friday with a right-hamstring strain but could return relatively quickly, although it may not come when he's first eligible this Sunday. The 30-year-old left-handed-hitting outfielder really struggled in the month of May, going 15-for-84 (.179) with four home runs, four doubles, 11 RBI, three steals, eight runs scored, three walks and 27 strikeouts in 88 plate appearances. Mullins should at least be involved in a platoon in center field when he comes off the injured list, but with Baltimore's outfield getting healthier, the former 13th-rounder might have to swing the bat better to be in the lineup on a regular basis. He has 10 homers and eight steals through 181 at-bats in 2025.

Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) is scheduled to begin a minor-league rehab assignment this weekend, according to The Baltimore Banner's Andy Kostka. O'Neill is expected to join Triple-A Norfolk as he wraps up his rehab from a left-shoulder impingement. Barring a setback for the oft-injured 29-year-old outfielder, O'Neill could rejoin the big-league roster at some point next week. The Canadian has an enticing power profile after hitting 30-plus home runs for the second time in his career in 2024 with Boston, but he also continues to battle nagging injuries and was slashing just .188/.280/.325 with a career-worst .605 OPS with two homers, 10 RBI and 27 strikeouts in 93 trips to the plate in his first 24 games with the O's before getting injured. O'Neill figures to play regularly when he returns from the IL.

Jordan Westburg (hamstring) was scheduled to play in minor-league rehab games with Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday and Wednesday before the Orioles decide on his next step, according to The Baltimore Banner's Andy Kostka. In four rehab games, Westburg has gone 4-for-15 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored for Norfolk. Although the 26-year-old wasn't exactly tearing the cover off the baseball earlier this year before he got injured, Westburg is expected to return to Baltimore as their regular at third base, possibly this weekend in a series in Sacramento against the Athletics. For the volume alone, Westburg will be valuable as a corner infielder in deep-mixed leagues. He went 20-for-92 (.217) with four homers and six RBI before landing on the IL, but the former first-rounder was a first-time All-Star in 2024, when he slugged 18 homers and drove in 63.

The New York Yankees haven't made a decision on the next steps for outfielder/designated hitter
Giancarlo Stanton (elbows) as he rehabs from tennis elbow in both of his arms. Manager Aaron Boone is hoping to have more concrete plans for Stanton in the next 24 hours. The 35-year-old veteran slugger has been making progress and was taking live at-bats at the team's spring training complex in Tampa last week, but he's not quite ready to come off the injured list to make his 2025 season debut. The next step will likely be to send Stanton on what could be a lengthy minor-league rehab assignment. Even if Stanton doesn't have any setbacks with his elbows once he begins playing in minor-league games, fantasy managers might not get him back before the All-Star break in mid-July. Stanton still has the potential to provide elite power in stretches when healthy, but it's fair to wonder how productive he'll be after such a long layoff.

Aaron Nola (ankle, side) was scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Thursday, but instead he'll be shut down for a day or two, according to manager Rob Thomson. Nola felt some stiffness in his right side, although Thomson said it's "very mild" and the team is being overly cautious. The 32-year-old veteran is currently on the 15-day injured list and is recovering from a sprained right ankle, but now he's dealing with another ailment. It doesn't sound like Nola will be pushed back too far in his rehab, but it's something else to worry about for a normally solid fantasy pitcher that was really struggling before going on the shelf. Nola should be stashed in an IL spot in all fantasy leagues, but so far he's gone 1-7 with a 6.16 ERA and 1.51 WHIP with 52 strikeouts and 16 walks in 49 2/3 frames over his nine starts.

Roki Sasaki (shoulder) was seen playing catch at Dodger Stadium ahead of Wednesday's matchup against the New York Mets. Sasaki continues to work his way back from a right shoulder impingement that has kept him sidelined for nearly a month. The right-hander has started a throwing program, but is still multiple weeks away from getting back on the mound. Sasaki figures to need a few rehab starts before being activated off the injured list. The hope is that Sasaki can return in late June or early July.
