Odell Beckham Jr. Wants To Join Postseason Contender

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who will be waived on Monday afternoon, hopes to join a team that is in postseason contention. Before he hits free agency, he will be subject to a waiver process, during which any NFL team can put in a claim for Beckham and the $7.25 million that he is owed over the rest of the season. Although he technically can't decide which team claims him, Schefter notes, "If a team that does not fit this criteria claims Beckham, there could be potential issues for that team, although it is unclear exactly what those issues would be." If he clears waivers unclaimed, though, the veteran wideout gets to decide where he signs. The 29-year-old has hauled in 17 catches for 232 yards this season. Any potential fantasy value over the rest of the season would depend on which team he joins.
