Odell Beckham Jr. 2021 Player Outlook: Renaissance Season Within Range of Outcomes
4 years agoAfter looking like one of the brightest young stars in the NFL, Cleveland Browns' wideout Odell Beckham Jr. has taken a bit of a tumble over the past few seasons. In six full games last season, he was averaging around 53 yards per game with a total of four touchdowns. This was a far fall from his career average of 92.8 that he was sporting with the New York Giants. The Browns' star wideout has struggled to create consistent chemistry with quarterback Baker Mayfield as he's catching just 55.1 percent of his passes in Cleveland. This is a pivotal year for the star as there is no guaranteed money left on his deal after this season, and the Browns could cut him for $15 million in savings with no dead cap. The main attraction to Beckham for fantasy this upcoming season is tied squarely to his ADP that sees him currently coming off the board in the sixth round. Beckham has a full offseason and health on his side that have him poised for a big year, and he could turn in his first WR1 season since 2016. The floor remains low, but the upside is certainly there for a huge return on investment.
