O.J. Howard Hasn't Looked Dynamic
3 years agoBuffalo Bills backup tight end O.J. Howard hasn't looked like the dynamic pass-catcher he was when he was a first-round pick in 2017. The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder has still been consistent in his opportunities this offseason and he could be an excellent blocker for 12 personnel while being a pass-catching threat, but his movement skills are well below what Dawson Knox brings. Howard hasn't been quick in and out of his breaks, which could make it difficult for him to get separation on defenders. The 27-year-old should still be a solid contributor as Knox's backup, but it might help explain why he fell out of favor in Tampa Bay.
