No Hard Feelings Between Le'Veon Bell, Adam Gase
4 years agoNew York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell said it was a "miscommunication" last week when he dealt with some hamstring tightness in practice. Bell felt that he could keep practicing, but team trainers thought he should sit out and relayed that to head coach Adam Gase. Bell said he spoke to Gase last week about the "hamstring incident." "I know how hard it is to believe that, but we actually like each other," Bell said. It's water under the bridge at this point. The 28-year-old former Steeler was a huge disappointment in his first year with the Jets, but the team upgraded their offensive line and Bell should see more work as a receiver in 2020. There remain plenty of red flags for Bell in his second season with New York, but at his reduced cost this year, he's not a bad low-end RB2.
