5 months agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Nick Tropeano (shoulder) threw three innings and 45 pitches in an extended spring training game on Tuesday in Arizona and will continue to build up his pitch count. When he's healthy, he's likely to be sent to Triple-A Salt Lake to give the Angels starting pitching depth. The right-hander had a 4.74 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 in 14 starts for the Angels last year but has been too much of an injury risk to rely on in fantasy leagues. At best, he's one to stash in AL-only leagues, but he's no guarantee to see that many starts in 2019 in the big leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
