Nick Senzel Could Begin Rehab Assignment Next Week
3 years agoCincinnati Reds manager David Bell said that outfielder Nick Senzel (knee) has made great progress in the last week and could go on a minor league rehab assignment next week. Senzel was able to take ground balls over the weekend and is on track to return next month, barring setbacks. The 26-year-old has been sidelined since late May after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, but he can return to give fantasy managers a nice power/speed addition in an already powerful Reds lineup. Before going down with his injury, Senzel was hitting .252/.323/.315 with a homer, 18 runs, eight RBI and two steals in 111 at-bats. He had 12 home runs and 14 stolen bases in 104 games in his rookie year in 2019.
