1 year agoCincinnati Reds manager David Bell said that left-hander Nick Lodolo (leg) is scheduled for a live bullpen session on Monday and then will throw two innings next Friday. It was announced over the weekend that Lodolo is now targeting a late-August return from the 60-day injured list alongside right-hander Hunter Greene (hip). The 25-year-old southpaw will give the Reds some more strikeout upside in their starting rotation down the stretch as they look to secure a postseason berth. Lodolo is worth a waiver-wire pickup if he's available in your fantasy league closer to his return date, but he hasn't pitched in the big leagues since May 6 and had a 6.29 ERA and 1.75 WHIP in seven starts earlier this year before his injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
