Ottawa Senators forward Nick Cousins (knee) will miss extended time after undergoing surgery. Per Julian McKenzie of The Athletic, Senators head coach Travis Green believes it will be "a couple of months" before Cousins returns to the lineup. The gritty forward has been out for three games. Cousins has registered 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 47 outings while averaging 1.7 hits. Ottawa also lost Josh Norris (undisclosed) on Saturday against Minnesota and is without Noah Gregor (lower body), so the team's forward depth is getting tested right now.--Taavi Pailk
