Calgary Flames goaltender Mike Smith turned aside 25 of 26 shots against on Friday, leading his team to a 2-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. In his fifth straight start for the Flames, the 36-year-old picked up his fourth consecutive win. Smith struggled badly out of the gates this season and seemed to have given up his starting job to newcomer David Rittich. However, the 14-year NHL veteran looks to have earned back his role with a solid month of February - four wins, a 2.64 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage in six starts. Fantasy owners might want to see more evidence of this recent good play before taking a chance on him again but Smith is definitely a goaltender worth monitoring down the stretch. He'll likely be in net for a great match-up with the Senators on Sunday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
