1 year agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Mike Clevinger has been placed on waivers. The 32-year-old has been surprisingly solid for the South Siders this season. He holds a 3.32 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and a 85/38 K/BB ratio through 97 2/3 innings this season. The White Sox are not playing for anything, so they've decided to move on from Clevinger and try and get some salary relief. The right-hander should certainly have plenty of interest from contending teams. Clevinger signed a one-year deal with the White Sox this offseason and is set for a nice payday this winter.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
