Michael Rasmussen Goes Off For Four Points
2 years agoDetroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen had the game of his life Wednesday versus Tampa Bay, posting four points in a 7-4 victory. He scored twice and was also able to pick up a pair of assists in 18:00 of ice time. The 23-year-old is currently playing first-line minutes because Dylan Larkin is limited in the face-off circle due to a hand injury. With David Perron also on the line, Rasmussen has received a great opportunity to impress. The trio combined for 10 points in Wednesday's win. Having averaged only 14:28 of action for the season, Rasmussen has been able to get only 15 points across 30 appearances, but he has upped his production massively in a top-line role with five points in two games.
