2 years agoDetroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen suffered a lower-body injury against Tampa Bay Saturday. He logged only 2:13 of ice time and had to exit the game after blocking a shot with his left knee area. Rasmussen is now doubtful for Monday's game against Ottawa. The 23-year-old has worked on the second line lately, and he's done a decent job throughout the season, getting 10 goals and 29 points in 56 games. He's been a workhorse without the puck as well, sitting fourth on the team with 119 hits. Jakub Vrana was a healthy scratch on Saturday and will have a chance to re-enter the lineup if Rasmussen isn't healthy enough to play Monday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
