Max Muncy Returns To Lineup Monday
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy (wrist) is back in the starting lineup on Monday against the San Diego Padres and right-hander Seth Lugo, serving as the designated hitter and batting cleanup. Muncy took a pitch off his left wrist last Thursday against the Oakland Athletics and didn't start in any of the first three games of a four-game series against the Padres. With Muncy in the DH spot, J.D. Martinez will take Monday off. The 32-year-old veteran left-handed hitter has been a nice power asset and has driven in 70 runs in a potent Dodgers lineup, but he's also hitting just .193 (60-for-311) on the year, so fantasy managers aren't relying on Muncy to help their team batting average. Return him to starting lineups to begin the week.
