Max Klare 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Rams Tight End Room Crowded
Expectations at the tight end position have never been higher in fantasy after Colston Loveland, Tyler Warren, and Harold Fannin Jr. ultimately became their team's top receiving threat last season, as rookies. Historically, the tight end position has been one of the last in terms of fantasy development, and fantasy managers should remain patient when evaluating what they have in Max Klare. Klare comes into a Rams' tight end room that is already crowded with the likes of Tyler Higbee, Colby Parkinson, and Terrance Ferguson already in tow. While the outlook is not great for Klare in 2026, he possesses one of the top athletic profiles among the tight ends drafted in April's draft, and as a Junior at Purdue, he caught 51 passes for 684 receiving yards, averaging 2.22 yards per route run. Klare transferred to Ohio State in 2025, where he once again proved his worth as a pass catcher, averaging 10.4 yards per reception, hauling in 43 passes for 448 receiving yards. Klare is the most talented pass catcher in the Rams' tight end room; unfortunately, he will have to bide his time before making a fantasy impact.
