Carolina Hurricanes right wing Martin Necas produced a game-high three points in Saturday's Stadium Series win against Washington. Carolina's second line combined for seven points in total in a 4-1 win and Necas had a power-play goal and two assists in the contest. The Czech forward has totaled 10 points in his past nine appearances and tops the team's scoring charts with 51 points in 55 games. Necas has previously been only a 40-point guy, so 2022-23 has been a major breakthrough campaign for him. With Carolina now set to face St. Louis, Ottawa and Anaheim, the stage is nicely set for Necas to continue his current hot spell for the rest of the month.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
