Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Marcus Pettersson (undisclosed) is regarded as a game-time decision for Thursday's clash with Vegas. He missed Wednesday's practice for maintenance but was on the ice Thursday morning, so it looks like there's a decent chance that Pettersson will be able to stay in the lineup, although we won't know for sure until it's game time. Losing Pettersson would be a further blow for the Penguins blue line, as Kris Letang (personal/lower body) has already been out of the lineup for a couple of games. With Letang unavailable, Pettersson played a massive part in Monday's Winter Classic against Boston, logging 25:56 of ice time. He should play a key role again Thursday if he is able to play. The Swedish blue-liner boasts 11 points in 37 games for the campaign with 47 shots, 76 hits, 76 blocks and a plus-11 rating.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
