New York Jets franchise-tagged safety Marcus Maye (ankle) will miss three to four weeks with an ankle injury, according to a source. Maye is one of New York's best all-around defenders, so this is a big hit to their defense in the short term. The 28-year-old ranks tied for 14th in fantasy points in IDP leagues after notching nine tackles (seven solo) in the Week 3 loss to the Denver Broncos. Through three games, Maye has 23 tackles (16 solo), a QB hit, one pass defensed and one sack. New York's defense/special teams is near the bottom of the league in fantasy points early in the season, and there's no reason to think they'll turn things around with Maye out this Sunday against Tennessee.
