Marcus Foligno To Have Season-Ending Surgery
9 months agoMinnesota Wild winger Marcus Foligno is expected to have season-ending lower-body surgery. He missed a second consecutive game on Saturday versus Vegas. With Minnesota unlikely to make the playoffs, the team has now decided to shut Foligno down. The 32-year-old ends the campaign with 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) and 179 hits. Health issues limited him to only 55 appearances. Foligno is coming off a three-year, $9.3 million deal and will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.
