Anaheim Ducks goaltender Lukas Dostal had a memorable night in the crease on Friday against New Jersey, helping the team to a 4-3 victory with a 52-save effort. It's the most saves a rookie netminder has had in Ducks history in a winning effort. Dostal's special night included an extraordinary finish, as the Devils were awarded a penalty shot with just 2.1 seconds left in regulation. Jack Hughes had a chance to collect his third point of the night and send the game to overtime but couldn't outplay Dostal, who improved to 9-15-1 for the season. He has allowed 3.67 goals with a .900 save percentage. It's been a struggle for Dostal, but it will have made Friday's victory taste even sweeter for Anaheim's young backup.--Taavi Pailk
