Logan Thomas Not Practicing Sunday
1 year agoWashington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas (calf) is not practicing on Sunday at training camp. Thomas was unable to play in the team's preseason opener on Friday and has missed the last week of camp with his injury. He's expected to be the team's top pass-catching option at the position again in 2023, but the oft-injured 32-year-old just isn't very reliable. Thomas' best season came in 2020, when he caught 72 of his 110 targets for 670 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games (15 starts). He managed to play in 14 games last year, finishing with 39 receptions for just 323 yards and one score for Washington. Even if Thomas is healthy and ready to roll for Week 1 of the regular season, he's a low-end TE2 option in fantasy, at best.
