Lions Might Begin Extension Talks With Kenny Golladay
4 years agoAfter the Detroit Lions signed left tackle Taylor Decker to a contract extension on Tuesday, sources say that Detroit may now start talking with wide receiver Kenny Golladay about an extension. The two sides haven't started discussions, however, and no deal is imminent. Golladay deserves a new deal and wants one before the start of the 2020 season. He's had back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons and led football with his 11 trips to the end zone in 2019. With a healthy Matthew Stafford back under center for the Lions, Golladay's ceiling remains high as a top-10 fantasy wideout. Stafford suffered his season-ending injury in Week 9 of last year, so a full season with Stafford should keep him as a high-end WR1.
