The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired forward Tanner Jeannot from the Nashville Predators in exchange for defenseman Cal Foote, a conditional first-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, a second-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, and a third, fourth, and fifth-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft. Jeannot had an impressive rookie season in which he scored 24 goals and added 17 assists through 81 games, but he could not replicate the totals this season with only five goals and 14 points through 56 games. The 25-year-old is in the final season of a two-year, $1.6 million contract and he can become a restricted free agent this summer. Jeannot benefits from the trade for fantasy purposes as he joins a deep forward group on one of the best teams in the league.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
