Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl was named the winner of the Hart Trophy as the most valuable player for the 2019-20 NHL season. The 24-year-old also received the Ted Lindsay Award as the most outstanding player, which is voted by the NHL Players' Association. Draisaitl had a phenomenal season in which he recorded a league-leading 110 points (43 goals, 67 assists), and an NHL-best 44 power-play points to go along with 33 multi-point performances prior to the shutdown.
