Laremy Tunsil Unlikely To Play In Season Finale
4 years agoHouston Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil (ankle) suffered what is believed to be a high-ankle sprain in the Week 16 loss to the Bengals and he is highly unlikely to play in Week 17 against the Titans, according to a source. Tunsil will finish up a Pro Bowl season as the blind-side protector for quarterback Deshaun Watson. His absence in Week 17 against the Titans is bad news for Watson, while it will be good news for a Titans Defense that has struggled to get consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Watson and running back David Johnson could have a tough time getting things going in the regular season finale against a Titans team still trying to punch their ticket to the postseason.
