MarShawn Lloyd to Miss Time with Hamstring Injury
MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) "is going to miss some time" after suffering a hamstring injury. The second-year back left the Green Bay Packers' 23-19 preseason win over the Indianapolis Colts after catching a 33-yard pass. The 2024 third-round pick has been more hurt than healthy in his young career, having been limited to just one game in his rookie season due to hamstring, ankle injuries, and appendicitis. Despite coming into camp healthy, he was dealing with a groin injury in late July before this latest issue. In Sunday's game, Lloyd finished with 15 yards on six rushes and his one catch for 33 yards before exiting. He is currently battling to be the backup for Packers workhorse RB Josh Jacobs, but this latest injury will delay the opportunity for now.
